Lucrezia's Wedding Doll from SHOWTIME The Borgias
From SHOWTIME’s hit series The Borgias, Lucrezia’s Wedding captures the breathtaking beauty of Lucrezia’s wedding gown. We should say her FIRST wedding gown, since she was married three times and had many lovers. This 10” Cissette doll is fully articulated with blue eyes and a mass of center-parted, hay-gold hair that’s swept up and curled at the ends. When it came time to choose Lucrezia’s Wedding dress, she picked a gown of beige floral brocade accented with a metallic gold floral design, worn over an underskirt of gold and ivory satin paisley brocade. Light pink ruffles across the bodice add a pretty touch as do the full-length sleeves of the gown which have been enhanced with embroidered gold trim and pink satin bows at the top. Beneath the gown she wears a lace-trimmed, ivory cotton petticoat, matching pantaloons and white stockings. The veil for Lucrezia’s Wedding is off-white organza trimmed with gold. Pearl earrings, a pearl necklace with a gold cross, and gold flats finishes the look for this elegant bride.
