Showtime: "The Tudors" Anne of Cleves 10-inch Doll

Anne of Cleeves was the fourth wife of King Henry VIII and all things considered, one of the lucky ones. When he decided he didn’t want to be married to her any more, he annulled the marriage and gave her lots of money and a couple of palaces as a consolation prize. Unlike most of his other wives, she did all right for herself and was, thus, able to buy nice clothes. Quite like the outfit she wears in the 2011 collection. She, a 10-inch fully-articulated Cissette, with blue eyes, has long brunette, center-parted hair that’s pulled back at the sides. Her gown, a silver brocade bodice, rich with beadwork and corset lacing in the back, is joined to a skirt which features panels of silver brocade and black flock. A short, attached, silver brocade jacket, worn over the gown is trimmed with silver lace layered on black grosgrain ribbon. Thin silver trim also decorates the front of the bodice. A white, lace-trimmed petticoat and bloomers and white pantyhose are worn beneath while silver T-straps are worn on her feet. Includes an intricate crown of silver metalwork, with a lace foundation, silver earrings and a crystal choker worn with a double strand of silver beads completes Anne of Cleeves.
