Spain Doll from International Collection 10-inch Collectible Doll
Spain, a 10”, fully articulated Cissette with brown eyes and tightly curled, short auburn hair, wears a ship. That’s right a ship, a Spanish Galleon to be exact. Beneath the ship she is dressed in a Conquistador style outfit that features a gold and copper metallic brocade bodice, with a rust colored silk yoke, that’s worn with metallic gold and copper brocade pumpkin pants. Pants that are embellished with a dark gold and rust, geometric, jacquard weave. Copper fringe trim enhances the sleeves as well as the neckline which also has a ‘ruff’ of rust colored tulle. Rust colored tights, rust colored, stretch velvet gloves and black, over-the-knee boots that have brown cuffs and gold accents, fills out Spain’s dynamic look. A metallic, copper resin helmet on her head and a copper pike in her hand also contribute to this conqueror’s appeal. As for that ship, it’s made from heavy, printed-paper and hangs on Spain by way of straps. It is the finishing touch for this completely original doll.
