Madame Alexander® Takes another trip Down the Yellow Brick Road
2004-01-01

Off to see the Wizard are Dorothy and the gang, but this time they've brought a new look with them.

Madame Alexander has crated a very exclusive doll with Total Moves™ Dorothy! Ten points of articulation makes this beautiful Dorothy unique. She wears her silk signature dress of blue and white gingham, blue socks and, "ruby slippers". Her beautiful, brunette wig is styled into pigtails that are tied with pretty blue bows. Total Moves™ Dorothy comes with a plush Toto, a collectible box, and an ability to move right into your heart.

"There's No Place Like Home", and Dorothy will never have to leave home again with the Wizard of Oz House Trunk. Inside you'll find Dorothy's bedroom in Auntie Em's house, complete with a drawer, hanging bar with hangers and a pull out bed. Outside this playhouse looks likes as it did when it landed in Oz. Colorful with trees, grass and flowers. Beneath the house are the witch's legs, and on her feet…what else, the ruby slippers! The Wizard of Oz House Trunk is a delightful environment that any child will adore.

An 8" Coroner makes an appearance to confirm that the Wicked Witch of the East is really, truly dead. Dressed in a lavender tunic that is covered by a deep blue "official" robe. He also wears a rolled "official" hat of office, and black boots. His re-painted Wendy face features a beard and moustache that gives him an air authority. Which is important, for he is here to present you with the witch's the death certificate.

Wendy and the Yellow Brick Road brings her friends and the emerald city with her wherever she goes, for they all are embroidered on her dress. On the skirt of the blue and white gingham dress, the tin man, scarecrow, cowardly lion, and Dorothy, herself, travel down The Yellow Brick Road towards the emerald city, which is embroidered on her bib. Red poppies "pop" up all over her skirt. A lacy petticoat, white socks and red-flocked Mary Jane's complete an outfit that would please any wizard.

Dorothy, The Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion make yet another, appearance in the 2004 line. Dressed in their signature outfits, they are here in the cutest versions yet, 5" petites!

Favorites of this classic are also coming back this year to take another trip down the yellow brick road. The Petite Wizard of Oz Set that includes a 5" coroner and three munchkins, The Dorothy and Munchkinland Set, the Wicked Witch of the East, Glinda the Good Witch, an O.E.O. Guard, the Mayor of Munchkinland and 8" versions of Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion are all returning to Oz.
