Madame Alexander and the Peanuts gang! What could be better than Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Sally and Snoopy spending their Halloween at Alexander’s? But their visit is no trick; it is the best of all treats.
Even Great Pumpkin Lucy is charming. Dressed in a black and white polka dot dress, she brings her own costume, a white cover that hides her dress. She has a red felt “witch’s” hat that has yellow stars on it, and a green foam “witch’s” mask that comes with warts and all… Her trick or treat bag only has 2 pieces of “candy”, and a “chocolate” bar, but then Lucy is just getting started.
Great Pumpkin Linus has decided not to hide his light under a costume. Dressed as he customarily is, in a red and black striped shirt, black pants and black socks, his agenda is to wait for the Great Pumpkin, and welcome him in style. He has his blanket for comfort, a pumpkin from the patch that is related to the Great one, and a “Welcome Great Pumpkin” sign.
Great Pumpkin Sally is a fashion plate in a blue and white polka dot dress with a matching bow in her hair. She has a white ghost costume and a bag of “candies”.
Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is dressed, for the big night, in an orange shirt and black shorts. He has a black whisper mask that he wore to a party. As a matter of fact, while at the party his white costume, somehow or another, acquired holes. And, who would have guessed it, but his trick or treat bag are filled rocks. Thank goodness Snoopy, aka The Red Baron, is with him. He wears his green Red Baron cap and red knit scarf. His
Bullet-ridden doghouse, or his plane according to Snoopy, folds up easily in the box.
