MADAME ALEXANDER® is delighted to grant your wish with the new FANTASY collection for 2003, Magical Fairies.
The Wishing Fairy, all silver glitter and pink, has white gossamer wings which she uses to fly over flowers and up into trees. Her skirt is trimmed with pink “diamonds” while her bodice has pink beads. Flowers of the same shade decorate her blonde hair. And should you catch her, when this 8’ fairy comes flying by, she’ll give you the crystal star she carries in her hand.
LILY of the Valley is known for two things, beautiful scents and lovely fairies. 8” Wendy, with curly red hair and green eyes, is dressed in the color of a sister flower, lavender. Her dress is light and airy, satin, lace and tulle, and her favorite flower decorates the skirt. She flies about using her wings, but she does it very carefully, because she doesn’t want to drop her lovely and carefully made little flower hat.
One of the most unique creatures in all the world is a Purple Sparkle Dragonfly Fairy. This 8”, green-eyed fairy is dressed in shades of purple and green, organza and brocade, with enough gold trim and iridescence to make her sparkle. Like all little dragonflies she has wings and a lovely long tail. And, she’s been given a special final touch, a dragonfly ornament in her blonde pigtailed hair.
Like her pal Purple, Pink Sparkle Dragonfly Fairy, a brown hair, blue-eyed 8” wears the cutest little fairy shoes. Her dress, made from iridescent silk Dupioni and sheer pink sparkle chiffon, goes perfectly with her blue, glittering, rhinestoned wings. Pink and blue, bows and flowers twine themselves around her side ponytail hairdo, and do the same with her wings.
Pink is the most favorite color of the 8”, dark eyed Pink Blossom Fairy. Her full, full skirt is made from layers of pale pink tulle, and blossom petals circle her waist. Leaf shaped wings and a petal blossom hat perched on her long, dark hair, makes this beautiful little doll, the envy of the fairy world.
When they heard the news, that new fairies had just flown in, Purple Petals Fairy and Pink Petals Fairy, decided to return for a visit, and catch up on the, “what’s new, what’s happening” gossip in fairyland.
