Every year Madame Alexander® creates several dolls to be offered exclusively to those in the Dealer Recognition Programs. The programs reward qualifying retailers for their continued and enthusiastic support of Madame Alexander. But the recognition is far more than an acknowledgement of the buying and selling of dolls. It is the company’s way of expressing its appreciation for the bonds of commitment and friendship, the development of a valued relationship between the retailers and the company. It is, quite simply, Madame Alexander’s way of saying thank you.
The Program is divided into four collections or levels that have corresponding doll offerings; the Gold Dealer Program, the Diamond Dealer Program, the Platinum Dealer Program and the Excellency Program.
Gold dealers, much appreciated for their continued support are being offered two special creations, All American Wendy and Marmee.
All American Wendy is an 8” classic Wendy with blonde hair and blue eyes. She wears a red, white and blue sweater, with stripes and stars. The skirt of her dress is a pleated, navy blue, ribbed velour, and the top is white. A sash of red, joins the white and blue at the waist. A 4 ½’ Chaos the Bear comes along with Wendy, dressed in a matching sweater.
Marmee, the mother of the “Little Women” is new this year. The 8’ doll has brown hair and eyes, and, wears a dress of black whisper and black and white plaid Dupioni. Black lace trims her skirt, and maroon and gold ribbon adorns her sleeves. A Victorian bonnet adds the finishing touch to this classic little doll.
Diamond Dealers, esteemed by the company for their contributions in the last year, are being acknowledged with two doll offerings for the new one. The two special dolls being offered are, It’s My Birthday, and Ribbon Celebration.
It’s My Birthday is an adorable little 8” brunette Wendy, wearing a blue and white dress that has a floral decoration. She comes accompanied by a commemorative lunch box.
Ribbon Celebration is the prettiest little angel. The 10” blonde dressed in pink and blue, tulle and satin has lovely big, ribbon wings. Stands of ribbon decorate the skirt of her dress. And at the end of each strand of ribbon is a surprise, a flower with a jewel in the center.
Platinum Dealers, whose invaluable support has been so instrumental in the success of the company, are being offered two wonderful dolls; American Parade and Cissette Shadow Yardley®.
American Parade is an 8” Wendy whose red hair is worn in braids. She is dressed in red, white and blue gingham. Her patriotism is made evident by the American flag on the front of her dress. Wendy pulls a pull toy accessory, a light colored bear riding a yellow and red tricycle.
Cissette Shadow Yardley, is the pairing of the petite version of Cissy with a classic Yardley add from the 50’s. Cissette has never looked more chic than she does in her classic, blue silk shirtwaist dress. The front of the dress is embellished by pearl buttons which match the look of her necklace and earrings. This lovely, blonde Cissette has blue silk shoes and carries a perfume bottle.
The Excellency Program
The Excellency Program recognizes that without dealers who strive to reach this level, no company could thrive. Excellency dealers are the lynchpin in a collaborative effort that brings success to the company. In gratitude, Madame Alexander offers dealers four new dolls, exclusively to the retailers in the Excellency Program; Anniversary Cissette, Wendy’s Favorite Keepsake, Anniversary Bouquet, and Amanda Fairchild.
Amanda Fairchild, new to the Alex line, and being offered to Excellency dealers only, is the aunt of Alex. She makes her debut in an asymmetrical, white satin, and black velvet gown with passementerie detailing on the body of the dress. A black and ivory satin wrap, a triple strand of pearls and black high heels complete her outfit. Her medium brown hair is swept up in a loose knot that highlights her warm brown eyes. As lovely as her niece, Amanda is a delightful addition to the Alex collection.
The 10”, blonde Anniversary Cissette wears a charming gown of black lace and pink. An upswept hairdo, necklace, earrings, and, shoes are the finishing touches for this blue-eyed doll.
Anniversary Bouquet is a sweet little 8” with long golden curls. She wears a delicate little blue, pink and white print dress with a pink sash. As an accessory, she will bring a basket with a bouquet of flowers to your home.
Wendy’s Favorite Keepsake is dressed in a pretty blue frock that has been trimmed with lace on the skirt, collar and bodice. A black sash is tied at her waist, accenting the blue. The brunette doll with curls comes with a miniature jewelry box and a pendant necklace.
