Angels, those protectors of humans known for miracles and heavenly choirs are a perennial favorite with the Company and collectors. Madame Alexander is pleased to introduce 3 new angels for 2003. These lovely dolls have all earned their wings and are sure to enhance any collection. Dressed in a rainbow of colors, Madame Alexander invites you to take a peek at all three, Angelique Innocence, Periwinkle Angel, Ribbon Celebration, and, their returning sister, Midnight Angel.
Angelique Innocence, a 10” doll, is all prettiness, dressed in a full, ivory embroidered gown with long flowing sleeves. Venetian lace trims the sleeves as well as the skirt, which has a hidden touch, a beaded insert in the front. And as with all good little angels she has a golden halo and feathered wings.
The 10” Periwinkle Angel wears a heavenly, periwinkle blue gown which features an asymmetrical front wrap in lavender and blue brocade. This little angel has white feather wings that are accented with a lavender bow. A matching bow is nestled in her hair.
Ribbon Celebration is part of the Anniversary series and a Dealer Recognition Doll. Dressed in a sweetly pink and blue tulle dress that also has a decorated pink satin bodice, this angel is a vision to behold. The gown is made extra special by the strands of pink and blue ribbon that circle the skirt. At the end of each ribbon is an angelic treat, a fabric flower with a jewel in the center.
Eight inches-tall, Midnight Angel returns this year to a chorus of appreciation. Dressed in the colors of the night sky, she wears a navy taffeta dress with a fitted bodice, silver straps, and a full, floor-length skirt. Navy marabou feather wings fan out prettily behind her, a reminder that she must fly before the approaching dawn.
