Orders placed on the Madame Alexander website will be processed and shipped either by Madame Alexander, or by an approved retail shop in our network of affiliated stores. This means that your order may not come directly from Madame Alexander, but may ship from the retailer instead. We do this in order to make available to you the full range of inventory across the U.S. In order to provide this service, we have engaged a company called Shopatron, which provides the technology, and also provides customer service. We trust your shopping experience will be convenient and reliable.

The Shopatron shopping service makes it easy to find and purchase the special products you need. When you order and pay online, our intelligent system starts working to ensure rapid delivery. Shopatron currently accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
COD orders, telephone, postal mail, Fax, and email orders are not accepted.
Shopatron does not accept credit card numbers delivered by email. You should not ever send credit card numbers by email, as it is not a secure practice.
Tax may be applied to your order if it ships from the same state or province as your shipping address. We don't know the exact amount of tax until your order ships, due to the unique nature of the Shopatron service. For this reason, the order total in your confirmation email may not reflect the exact amount of this tax. Sales tax may be applied to shipping and handling charges.
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, we may need to split it into multiple shipments. As you check out, you can select whether or not to allow us to split your order. A nominal additional shipping fee is applied to a split package.
If you do not want your order to possibly have a small additional shipping fee, please make sure to select "Single Package." Otherwise we will split your orders into 2 packages if that is the fastest way to get your order to you.
Our objective is to expedite your order as quickly as possible, based upon product availability, receipt of payment, and credit authorization. As such delivery dates are our best estimates at the time of your order. Calculations of estimated delivery dates begin on the first business day after such order is places, with business days being Monday through Friday, not including holidays.
Standard shipping fees are based upon order totals, before applicable sales tax. Standard shipping is estimated to reach your destination, within the continental United States, within 7 to 10 business days from the first business day after such order is placed. Orders placed AFTER 3PM EST may be processed on the following day. For these orders please allow one extra day for shipping in addition to what is estimated in checkout. This applies to both Standard and Expedited shipping. Orders with incomplete Shipping Address, or orders that are held up in credit card authorization will be delayed while the issue is resolved. Estimated shipping time begins once all issues with an order are resolved and the order can be released for processing.

Expedited shipping (2-Day and 3-Day) is available for most in-stock items and addresses (except PO Boxes). Orders placed AFTER 3PM EST may be processed on the following day. Returns and Exchanges
The Alexander Doll Company is proud of the quality and workmanship of its products, and we want to make sure you are satisfied.
When you receive your order, always keep the paperwork that is included with it in case you wish to return or exchange an item. Also, save any emails you receive about you order, as they may provide important information.
A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. You can request an RMA online, or you can call the merchandise shipper or Shopatron (both are listed on your Packing List) and they will issue one for you. Returns can only be requested within 30 days of the product shipment date. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
Returned items must be in their original packaging and in new condition, or they will be refused and sent back to you. Specific stores may have variations to this policy. View the return policy at the online store or contact Shopatron if you have questions.
Your order must be returned to the merchant shipper in order to receive full product credit; and your shipping costs are not refundable. Contact the merchant shipper for help or assistance in processing a return.
Merchandise will be accepted for return within 30 days of receipt. The merchandise must be in new and unused condition and in its original packaging.
A restocking fee may apply to returned items or items that have been cancelled from an order after it has been assigned to a fulfillment location. If a restocking fee will apply to an order, it will be noted on the final screen of checkout before you complete your order.
To exchange an item, please use the RMA process as described above, and place a separate order for the new item. Once we receive the returned item, we will issue a credit to the payment method used on the original order. The item must be in original packaging in new condition, and please make sure to make the exchange within 30 days of the original purchase.
Merchandise may be damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with obvious shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please call the merchant shipper immediately. You'll find contact information for the merchant shipper in the product box.
If you receive damaged merchandise, please save all packaging material and paperwork -- do not throw anything away! If you attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you jeopardize our chances of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return.
